A confused Jordan Poole produced another blooper reel highlight this week in a game between the Washington Wizards and Milwaukee Bucks.
This has been a rough week for Poole. Between the trade rumors, his dud of a performance in front of one of the hottest models in the game, and his nonstop humiliations with the Wizards – it has been one thing after another.
It was more of the same on Monday night.
With four minutes remaining and his squad down 10, Poole took the inbounds and let the ball roll down the floor. It was an interesting strategy. Midway through, he could be seen randomly starting to yell at the nearest NBA referee.
Jordan Poole thought doing this stops both the game clock & the shot clock lmao pic.twitter.com/qiieC2zYHc

Well, apparently he thought the game clock wouldn’t start if he didn’t touch the ball. Unfortunately, that is not how the rules work.
Reactions to Poole’s miscue poured in immediately:
He tried to go for a 2 for 1 with 4 minutes left. I love this kid bro 😭😭😭😭

This is legitimately an all time stupid NBA moment lmao

Poole’s downfall since his peak performance during the Golden State Warriors’ most recent title campaign has been incredible to watch.
He has gone from being the at-times second option on the NBA’s best squad to a walking embarrassment.

And it doesn’t look like the rough times are stopping any time soon.
Will Poole be able to get his career back on track at some point in the foreseeable future? Time will tell.
