Washington State Star Mocks Mike Leach
A Washington State star mocked Mike Leach on Thursday.
Following the announcement that Leach was leaving the Cougars and taking his talents to Mississippi State, one of his now-former players took to social media to react.
Washington State running back Max Borghi responded to Leach’s exit by posting a gif of Will Ferrell’s “mow cowbell” sketch from Saturday Night Live.

In Borghi’s last appearance this past season in the Cheez-It Bowl he only received six rushes. The Cougars went on to lose the game 31-21 to Air Force.
The presumption is that whoever takes over for Leach at Washington State will likely utilize the running game more a little more than his predecessor.
Will that presumption actually come to fruition? Time will tell.
