An Oklahoma star is transferring to Ohio State. Running back Trey Sermon is set to become an Ohio State Buckeye next year.
Sermon revealed that he was entering the NCAA Transfer Portal last week, but did not announce where he was going until Sunday.
According to Austin Ward, Sermon will be heading to Ohio State as a graduate transfer. This distinction will allow him to suit up and play once the 2020 season commences.

With the Buckeyes losing J.K. Dobbins this summer, Sermon will be able to slide into his role naturally and take control of the backfield for Ohio State.
Over the course of three seasons at Oklahoma, Sermon recorded 6.1 yards per carry for 2,067 yards and 22 touchdowns.
Sermon’s best campaign came two years ago, when he recorded 947 yards and 13 scores on 164 carries.
