LSU, Coach O Lose Another Big Star
LSU and Coach O lost another big star this week.
Fresh off winning the National Championship Game, the Tigers have been losing one big name after another.
Players, coaching – it doesn’t matter. Everyone is skipping town.
The most recent departure is Kenechi Udeze, the team’s analyst, who is now going to be hired by Vanderbilt as an assistant coach.
A rising star within the program, Udeze coached at USC from 2015 to 2018 as a defensive line coach. While with the Trojans, he worked under Coach O, who promptly brought him to LSU afterward.

Before this most recent loss, LSU had already watched Dave Aranda leave for Baylor and Joe Brady head to the Carolina Panthers.
The 36-year-old Udeze was a defensive lineman at UFC during his college playing days and then got drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in 2004. He was forced to retire just four years later after being diagnosed with lymphoblastic leukemia.
