ESPN Offers Final LSU vs Clemson Prediction
ESPN offered a final LSU vs Clemson prediction on Monday morning.
Heading into the National Championship Game, most Las Vegas sports books have LSU installed as a pretty clear favorite.
Some have it at six points, others at five and a half – but everyone has Joe Burrow on Co. on top.
Bettors too have been absolutely fawning over the SEC champs, picking them at historic levels.
Everyone seems to have LSU heading into the big game.
The one exception to this rule is ESPN. The worldwide leader in sports recently developed a computer model to help predict the end results of collegiate and professional football games.
According to ESPN’s computer model, Clemson has a 55.8 percent chance of emerging from the title game victorious.
It is unclear why ESPN is the only place really giving Dabo Swinney and his team much of a shot. After all, this is a program that is going for its third championship in four seasons.
LSU, meanwhile, has not played for a title since 2007.
Will ESPN’s confidence in Clemson ultimately be rewarded? We’re just a few hours from getting our answer.
