Is this an Ohio State football player shotgunning a beer before kickoff?
No, it isn’t.
A viral video emerged this weekend showing what appears to be an Ohio State football player shotgunning a beer one hour prior to the team’s first game of the year against Florida Atlantic.

The clip led many to wonder if the #57 shown is actually a member of the team.
The answer: no.
Zaid Hamdan, a defensive tackle out of Mason, Ohio, wears #57 for Ohio State.
The guy in the video is not Hamdan.
So no, unfortunately no actual member of the football team was shotgunning beers one hour prior to kickoff.
