The controversy erupted after Hudson abruptly shut down questions during Belichick’s “Sunday Morning” interview promoting his new book “The Art of Winning.” When interviewer Tony Dokoupil inquired about how the couple met, Hudson interrupted with “We’re not talking about this,” reportedly causing delays in the production.
The 49-year age gap between 73-year-old Belichick and Hudson has already drawn public interest, but this incident has now seemingly revealed divisions within Belichick’s inner circle as well.
Jordon Hudson & Bill Belichick’s First Meeting
Bill Belichick recently addressed misconceptions about his relationship with Jordon Hudson. The former NFL coach clarified that contrary to some reports, they did not meet during a plane journey from Boston to Florida in February 2021.
At that time, Belichick was still in a relationship with Linda Holliday, his partner of 16 years. The actual timeline reveals that Belichick and Hudson began their relationship in 2023, after his long-term relationship with Holliday had concluded.
The couple has attracted significant attention due to their considerable age difference. Belichick, 73, and Hudson, 24, have a 49-year age gap between them. This relationship detail emerged amid Belichick’s criticism of CBS for discussing his personal life during a professional interview, highlighting the often blurred lines between the legendary coach’s private affairs and his public persona in NFL circles.
