Colin Kaepernick Wears Controversial Shirt To Workout
Colin Kaepernick wore a controversial shirt to his big open workout.
Kaepernick, 32, had his much-hyped workout in front of several NFL teams on Saturday.
Heading into the weekend there was a lot of talk and speculation regarding what this workout will ultimately achieve.
Some think it may go some ways in helping Kaepernick land on a pro roster.
Others believe the whole thing was one big publicity stunt for all involved – both Kaepernick and the NFL.
Regardless, the event came and went, and one of the big storylines coming out of it was the shirt Kaepernick opted to wear to the event.

Some people had very strong reactions to the shirt.
“Colin Kaepernick, who has made tens of millions of dollars playing football, showed up for his NFL workout with a film crew in a Kunta Kinte shirt, equating himself with the slave from Roots. I honestly believe he doesn’t want a job, he wants to remain a victim & woke SJW martyr,” Clay Travis tweeted.
Was Kaepernick’s shirt appropriate for the event? That is for each individual person to decide.
Will it help him land a job as a quarterback in the NFL?
Unlikely.
