Colin Cowherd Takes Surprising Stance On Michigan, Jim Harbaugh

Colin Cowherd takes a surprising stance on Michigan and Jim Harbaugh during a recent segment on his radio show.

This past weekend, Michigan suffered their second loss of the season in a 28-21 defeat to Penn State.

Penn State initially jumped out to a 21-0 lead over the Wolverines, but Harbaugh’s group scratched and clawed their way back into it.

Ultimately, Michigan’s comeback effort was undone due to some questionable officiating and the fact that they dug too big of a hole for themselves early.

Nevertheless, the loss to Penn State was just one of many defeats to big name programs that Harbaugh has suffered during his time at Ann Arbor.

Naturally the question over the past couple of weeks in some circles has been: is it time for Michigan to part ways with Harbaugh?

According to Cowherd, though, that sort of thinking is flawed.

“Michigan isn’t OSU,” he said.

“We’re holding Harbaugh to a Buckeye standard. They are not.”

Although that’s probably not the defense Harbaugh was hoping for, it is interesting to see someone in college football circles finally take the position that the Wolverines shouldn’t fire him.
