Colin Cowherd Has Message For Cleveland Browns Fans

Colin Cowherd has a message for Cleveland Browns fans.

That message? Don’t get your hopes up.

Cowherd has been a longtime critic of Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield and some of the organization’s personnel decisions.

On the heels of the team hiring Minnesota Vikings offensive coordinator Kevin Stefanski as its new head coach, Cowherd offered a mixed response.

Initially, he admitted that he had no idea how Stefanski would perform in this role.

Immediately afterward, though, Cowherd also acknowledged that this was a much better hire than New England Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels would have been.

“The Browns have another new head coach. Kevin Stefanski. Vikings OC,” he tweeted out.

“No idea how it works. Its a very impulsive organization. But…thinks it’s a WAY better fit than Josh McDaniels. (who most Browns fans were clamoring for)”

The Browns have now had 10 different head coaches in 21 years.

Their most recent coach, Freddie Kitchens, was let go after exactly one year on the job.

Last season Cleveland finished 6-10 and failed to qualify for the postseason.

It remains to be seen if Stefanski will be able to turn things around.
