Colby Covington Insults LeBron James’ Mom, Threatens Him
Colby Covington’s feud with LeBron James is intensifying. Just days after calling the Los Angeles Lakers star a ‘spineless coward’ following his UFC fight, Covington decided to step things up a notch.
“LOL at the snowflakes that believe @KingJames could even last 10 seconds with me,” he tweeted. “If that coward had the balls or the ability to kick anyone’s ass, Delonte West would’ve lost his teeth long before his meth habit!”

Covington’s reference to West is a particularly personal jab at James.
Back in 2010, rumors surfaced that West, at the time a notable role player in the NBA, had a relationship of some sort with James’ mother, Gloria. The gossip was never substantiated in any meaningful capacity, but the whispers lived on for many years to come.
West, who is bipolar, eventually found himself out of the league. Earlier this year, video surfaced of him in a seemingly drug-addled and homeless state – hence Covington’s “meth” suggestion.

James has yet to respond to Covington’s most recent barb.
This past Saturday night, Covington emerged as the winner of his main event UFC showdown with Tyron Woodley.
After the bout, Covington conducted a post-fight interview that immediately went viral.
“Ladies and gentlemen, the silent majority is ready to make some noise,” he began.
“If you thought that was a beating, wait until November 3 when Donald Trump gets his hands on sleepy Joe [Biden]. That’s going to be a landslide. I want to dedicate this fight to all the first responders, all the military out there. This world would not be safe without you guys, you keep us safe.”
That’s when he pivoted to James.
“Not these athletes, man,” he continued.
“I’m sick of these woke athletes and these spineless cowards like LeBron James. And speaking of spineless cowards, Marty Fake Newsman, Street Judas, we got unfinished business.”

After Covington’s monologue, numerous NBA players came out to mock him.
“Who’s this again?” Kevin Durant openly wondered on Instagram, suggesting that Covington was nobody of note.
“Weird how nobody tells him to stick to fighting,” Michael Carter-Williams chimed in.
“That jaw still cracked from Usman I see,” he added, referencing Covington’s defeat at the hands of current UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman.

Needless to say, there is no love lost between Covington and the NBA’s various stars.
Some believed that following Covington’s initial rant tensions would eventually simmer down and everyone would move on.
Based on his most recent tweet, however, it is safe to say that likely won’t happen.
Covington has declared war on James and the NBA. How that will ultimately work out for him remains to be seen.

I don’t agree with much of what Colby says, but I can 100% agree with this.
It doesn’t take much for these athletes to write a tweet or mention something in an interview about current world problems to receive a huge amount of praise and applause from the public, yet the first responders are quite literally risking their lives day in and day out to receive little to no recognition. These athletes are sitting in their million dollar mansions getting a footrub from their personal masseuse, writing a one minute tweet on how bad things are in the world and how much they support the minority, while first responders aren’t even making it home to see their families most nights, they are the real heroes and the ones making a difference, don’t be deluded into thinking otherwise.
Refreshing to see an athlete with some balls and individual thought. Wouldn’t mind seeing him smash Lebron’s face in a cage fight either. This man calls the president of his country ” a bum” on national tv. No american should respect or support him, PERIOD.
