Clemson And Dabo Swinney Taunt The SEC

Clemson and Dabo Swinney taunt the SEC in recent postgame comments.

Swinney, 50, has been very visibly agitated with how his team has been regarded all year long.

At the beginning of the season Clemson got due credit as the defending champions and were ranked No. 1 in the nation.

Unfortunately, things went downhill relatively quickly. Despite not suffering a single loss all season, Clemson repeatedly got shoved down the rankings because people felt like their schedule was weak.

On Saturday, Clemson defeated South Carolina very easily for their 10th victory in 11 games against the SEC.

“I know everyone says we don’t play anybody, but I think we’re 10-1 in our last 11 games against the SEC,” he said.

Those 10 victories include wins over Alabama, Auburn and Texas A&M.

Although the ACC is clearly a weaker overall conference than the SEC, it is hard to argue with the fact that Clemson is tough as any team in any conference in college football.
