Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson and his wife Ciara are no strangers to making headlines.
For one reason or another, this pair routinely seems to find itself in the news for a variety of reasons both within and outside of their control. So much so, in fact, that even Wilson’s former teammates like wide receiver D.K. Metcalf have gotten sucked into their media cycle vortex.
It was more of the same this week.
On Thursday, a now-viral Broncos-inspired video of Ciara went mega-viral. The clip largely speaks for itself:

What’s interesting about the way that Ciara embraces her husband in these types of things, referencing riding a Bronco when he is now a Bronco, is that it really reinforces how happy they are together.
This past April former NFL player Channing Crowder did an interview on a podcast and calmly suggested that the sole reason Ciara was with Wilson was because of cash.
In Crowder’s estimation, Wilson is a “square” and if he “didn’t have that bread Ciara wouldn’t be with him.”

For obvious reasons, that take didn’t sit well with a lot of folks – including Metcalf.
The Seahawks receiver responded with a fascinating reply that went viral in its own right.

What’s really funny about all this is that for a “square,” Wilson sure does seem to inspire a lot of outward displays of love and sexuality from his wife. Ciara is constantly bringing it up – so clearly she is happy. And if she is happy, what are the pair’s critics so up in arms about?
Wilson and Ciara have been in the news quite a bit in recent weeks. Between his reaction to her provocative photos and their so-called “controversial” video – it has been one thing after another.
And that’s something of a common trend for them.
Be it for sprinting away from Ciara’s baby daddy Future at a party or talking freely about the weirdest place they have ever gotten intimate, this duo constantly seems to generate headlines for one thing or another.
Hopefully as time goes on Ciara and Wilson’s outward displays of affection will settle the debate once and for all on their happiness level.

They love each other and clearly have an extremely healthy marriage.
Will their haters learn to accept that?
