Ciara’s outfit to Russell Wilson’s most recent Denver Broncos win caused something of a stir on Sunday.
After a slow start to the 2023 season, Denver really appears to have found its rhythm. Wilson, specifically, seems to be benefiting from Sean Payton’s tutelage in a way many hoped he would before the year began.
This weekend, Wilson went 13-of-22 for 134 yards and a touchdown as he led the Broncos to a 29-12 win over the Cleveland Browns. The victory improved Denver to 6-5 on the season after an initial 1-5 start.
While Wilson’s steady play was obviously impressive on Sunday, so was his wife Ciara’s choice of outfit. It caused a major stir online:
In an NFL weekend that saw Pam Oliver seemingly suffer some sort of medical issue, Sam Ponder’s new hairstyle go viral, and a Cincinnati Bengals cheerleader’s wild photos set the internet ablaze, it would be hard for anyone to break through the noise.
But that is precisely what Ciara did.
If it feels like Ciara is quite adept at penetrating the larger cultural zeitgeist on a regular basis, it is because she definitely is.
Be it for her provocative outfits to recent Denver Nuggets games, intimate videos with her beau or the racy video she made specifically for Wilson, she is always seems to make headlines for something or other. This weekend proved to be no exception.
As for her husband, a lot of his haters have grown increasingly quiet over the past month. And understandably so – he is playing some very solid football right now.

With five straight wins in the books, it will be fascinating to see how Denver closes the year out.
They are currently second in the AFC West, just behind the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs. Only two games separate these teams with a lot of games still remaining.
Can Wilson do the impossible and lead the Broncos into the playoffs this season? Time will tell, but either way, Ciara will be there rooting him on every step of the way.
