Chiefs Star Has Bold Message For Titans, Derrick Henry

A Chiefs star has a bold message for the Titans and Derrick Henry ahead of Sunday’s showdown.

That message? He is not impressed.

Over the past two weeks, Henry has been on a tear. Tennessee has obviously played well overall, but the single biggest reason why the Titans are currently in the AFC Championship Game is because of their running back.

In the Wild Card round against the New England Patriots, Henry rushed for 182 yards. One week later, he ripped the Baltimore Ravens’ rush defense apart to the tune of 195 yards.

If the Titans end up upsetting Kansas City on Sunday, it will be because of Henry.

This week, one Chiefs defensive player sounded off on what Henry brings to the table.

And frankly, he was not all that impressed.

“He’s not hard to hit. He’s just a big guy,” Frank Clark told reporters this week.

“[At] 240, 245, 250, honestly he should be running harder at his weight and at his size. I don’t see no difficulty in tackling him.”

Clearly the defensive lineman is not intimidated by the prospect of having to face down Henry.

Will that prove to be a mistake? We’ll likely find out for certain once and for all this coming Sunday.
