Chiefs Issue Troubling Injury Update Before Titans Game

The Chiefs issued a troubling injury update before the Titans game.

Ahead of Sunday’s AFC Championship Game showdown, Kansas City announced some concerning news.

The team’s stud defensive lineman Chris Jones was absent from Thursday’s practice as he continues to deal with a calf ailment.

Jones missed his team’s divisional round match-up against the Houston Texans with the same issue, and the hope was that he would recover in time for the Tennessee game.

The Chiefs are fairly significant favorites over the Titans at this stage, but so were the New England Patriots and Baltimore Ravens.

Behind Derrick Henry’s rushing and Mike Vrabel’s coaching, Tennessee will give Kansas City all the team can handle. And that is precisely why the Chiefs need to be at full strength come this weekend.

A final decision on Jones’ playing status will be made at some point in the next few days.
