Cavs Star Donovan Mitchell’s GF’s Valentine’s Photos Cause A Stir

Cavs Star Donovan Mitchell’s GF’s Valentine’s Photos Cause A Stir

Donovan Mitchell is in the midst of a tremendous first season with the Cleveland Cavaliers this year.

There were some questions initially about whether the 26-year-old would be able to replicate the level of success he had with the Utah Jazz over in the Eastern Conference, but he has more than silenced the doubters since arriving.

Because of how good Mitchell has been throughout the 2022-23 NBA season, all aspects of his life have come under increased scrutiny: including his personal affairs.

Earlier this year, some wild photos posted by his presumed girlfriend Tinara Westbrook blew up online. The pair didn’t really address them in the aftermath and have attempted to maintain a low profile ever since.

This week, in honor of Valentine’s Day, many went to both Mitchell and Westbrook’s social medias to see what they got up to. Much to their surprise – the answer seemed to be nothing.

Westbrook posted some photos that didn’t feature Mitchell at all on her IG Stories:

Mitchell posted zilch as well.

Moreover, the last interaction between Mitchell and Westbrook on social media appeared to come mid-December when he liked this post:

The last time Westbrook referenced Mitchell was when she was seemingly at a basketball game a few days prior.

Understandably, all of this caused something of a stir. NBA fans immediately began to wonder if the pair had split.

It is worth remembering, the past 24 hours have seen multiple prominent hoops couples publicly display their affection toward each other. Katya Elise Henry and Tyler Herro did it. Kyle Kuzma and Winnie Harlow did it. Karl-Anthony Towns and Jordyn Woods did it.

The fact that Mitchell and Westbrook did not is eyebrow-raising, for sure.

Time will tell what the status of Mitchell’s personal life is, but the man is definitely thriving on the court. The Cavs are currently fourth in the East and seem primed to do some real work in the playoffs.

Will this be the year Mitchell finally makes it to those ever-elusive NBA Finals? Time will tell.
