Arizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury has a lot to deal with heading into the 2022-23 NFL season.
The drama surrounding his quarterback, Kyler Murray, seems to be getting messier by the day. There are now 3 teams with legit interest in stealing him away via trade.
Then if that wasn’t bad enough, star Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins will miss the first six weeks of next season while he is serving out a suspension for violating the NFL’s performance-enhancing drug (PED) policy.
How is Kingsbury ultimately responding to all this? Apparently by going off the grid with his young girlfriend, Veronica Bielik.
The Cardinals coach said this much last week.
“The next month is my time,” he told reporters (via USA Today). “Y’all won’t see me. I will be out of the country, unreachable for any of y’all.”
As per Bielik’s most recent Instagram story – Kingsbury wasn’t lying.

This obviously isn’t the first that Bielik has gone viral in this fashion. Her extremely provocative photos with her beau recently set the internet ablaze, as did her very ambiguous message to him.
Hopefully Kingsbury comes back from this trip recharged and ready to handle business – because this is a big year for him and his squad. Although he recently inked an extension that will keep him in Arizona through 2027, he is still on somewhat shaky ground.
Kingsbury originally inherited a three-victory Cardinals team. Over the next three seasons he led them to records of 5-10-1, 8-8 and most recently 11-6. While the regular season improvement is admirable, his squad has been less impressive in the playoffs – even if there were some mitigating considerations that impacted things.
The 2022-23 season will be crucial for both Kingsbury and the Cardinals as a whole.

There needs to be noticeable improvement, especially in the playoffs.
Will Kingsbury come back from this trip with his girlfriend energized and ready to follow Sean McVay’s lead? Can he bring a Super Bowl championship to Arizona like his friend did to Los Angeles?
