Byron Jones Opens Up About Leaving Cowboys For Dolphins

Byron Jones opened up about leaving the Dallas Cowboys for the Miami Dolphins recently.

Jones spent five years in Dallas before making the move.

With the organization choosing to put all its financial resources into retaining quarterback Dak Prescott and wide receiver Amari Cooper, Jones was something of the odd man out.

That being said, Jones did not feel negatively about what transpired.

“They believe strongly in the way they draft,” he said. “They draft and develop really good players, so I don’t think the Dak and Amari’s situation had any effect on me.

“I think it’s their confidence in the people that they have on the roster now and who they’re going to get in the draft hopefully.”

How will Dallas ultimately replace Jones’ production next year? Time will tell.
