Bubba Wallace Noose Incident Staged? NASCAR President Responds

Was the Bubba Wallace noose incident staged? NASCAR President Steve Phelps recently responded to fans who think this may be the case.

Issuing a statement on Tuesday, Phelps dismissed any notion of the noose being found in Wallace’s garage being a Jussie Smollett-like hoax.

“I can’t speak for those on social media who would say this is a staged event,” he said.

“I would say that is something that personally offends me. This is a terrible, terrible act that has happened. For those who would think this is staged, I don’t even know where to go with that frankly.”

Phelps also said that punishment would be swift towards whoever placed the noose in Wallace’s garage.

“Unequivocally, they will be banned from this sport for life,” he said.

“There is no room for this at all. We won’t tolerate it. They won’t be here. I don’t care who they are, they will not be here.”

The authorities are currently investigating what precisely transpired here, so one way or another, a resolution should come soon.

Okay, frankly, here’s a way you can prove it wasn’t staged: show video surveillance of the noose being placed in Bubba’s garage bay.

Easy. It’s so very easy to end this controversy. As Nike says, boss – just do it!
