Bryce James is one of the most notable high school basketball players in the nation.
There’s a reason the Los Angeles Lakers and six other NBA teams recently sent scouts to watch him play.
With that distinction comes a lot of hype and attention.
Unfortunately, this week Bryce learned one of the drawbacks that comes with fame during a particularly awkward encounter with an overzealous fan.

Bryce is now getting a taste of what his older brother, Bronny has had to deal with for years.
Between the attention he gets on his dates with random females and the nonstop scrutiny of his basketball skills, Bronny faced the sort of limelight and pressure that few will ever be able to understand.

Bronny handled it all like a champ. Hopefully Bryce can do the same.
With Bronny off to college, Bryce is the New Big Thing in high school basketball. How will he ultimately handle it? Time will tell. But he’s definitely off to a strong start.
