Brittany Matthews and Patrick Mahomes got married earlier this month.
Their wedding was a star-studded affair featuring numerous NFL dignitaries and big-name personalities.
Even Mahomes’ rivals, like Arizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury and his Instagram model girlfriend, attended the festivities.
This week, Matthews shared some provocative photos of the pair’s honeymoon – and it looks pretty special.
Obviously the photos from proceedings don’t look quite as rowdy as the ones from Matthews’ bachelorette party did, but it still looks like a lot of fun.
And she wasn’t the only one to do it big prior to the wedding.
Mahomes himself also hosted a bachelor party, though his was far more low-key. The only major headline to come out of that event was his seeming decision to remove younger brother Jackson from the festivities. For obvious reasons that raised more than a few eyebrows.
A lot has been said regarding Matthews and her controversies . Between her racial tweets dispute and having to fend off chatter regarding her changing body, online backlash is not unusual for her. That said, she never has and never will let it bring her down.
And based on her recent Instagram posts, it’s safe to say she’s going to be out having fun no matter what:
Most importantly, Mahomes love her. When a tweet went viral not long ago seemingly showing the Chiefs quarterback unhappy with his bride, he promptly replied with this short but sweet message: “Man people are weird…love you babe.”
Love her or hate her, Matthews is now a permanent fixture in the larger sports cultural zeitgeist.

Now that she is Mahomes’ wife, she is only going to get louder and more provocative from here.
Do people question the impact it has on Mahomes’ mental health? Sure. And those questions probably aren’t going away.
But if they haven’t deterred Matthews from being the way she is up to this point, it’s unlikely that’ll change any time soon.
