Baker Mayfield has a surprising message for Cleveland Browns fans.
This past Sunday, Cleveland earned a somewhat surprising 19-16 victory over a scrappy Buffalo Bills squad.
Given the year the Browns have been having and how solid Buffalo has been, Cleveland fans were absolutely ecstatic at their team showing signs of life.
During the Browns’ last offensive possession of the game, that fan excitement turned detrimental when a late false start led to them having to settle for a field goal.
After the game, Mayfield blamed fans for this – saying they were being too loud.
“It was just the fact that when we’re on offense, we need it to be quiet,” he said.

“It might’ve ruffled some feathers, once again that’s okay, but when we’re on offense on a critical down, we need to be able to have silence in our home stadium.
“It’s got to be an advantage for us, and then when they get the ball, it’s got to be really loud. It’s just basic football.”
It will be interesting to see how Browns fans react to these comments during the next home game in Cleveland.
