Atlanta Falcons Announce Big Change

The Atlanta Falcons announced a big change this week.

With 2019-20 season officially in the books, the Falcons are looking to switch things up a bit in the new year.

As such, team owner Arthur Blank announced on Tuesday that the team was going to have new uniforms for the 2020-21 season.

The uniform reveal will occur at some point in April and the new design should be ready to be worn by the start of the 2020-21 season.

“As Atlanta continues to evolve, so too must our team,” Blank said.

“We are thrilled to let you know for the first time since 2003, we will unveil a new Falcons uniform design in April 2020,” he continued.

“Time and again, we’ve heard you ask for new uniforms.

“We’ve listened to your feedback and worked closely with Nike and the NFL over the past two years to create a look that represents you and reflects Atlanta’s culture, pride and unity.”

Atlanta has now gone 7-9 in consecutive seasons after its 2017 Super Bowl run.

There was a lot of chatter that the organization might fire its head coach Dan Quinn and replace him with someone else, but they opted to change their uniforms instead.

It remains to be seen if the change in uniforms helps play calling at all next season.
