Are Aaron Rodgers And Shailene Woodley Engaged?

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was named the NFL MVP on Saturday night.

While him winning the award for a third time in his career is reason enough to shine a spotlight on Rodgers, the thing that got the most attention after the announcement was the 37-year-old’s acceptance speech.

Or, more specifically, the part of his acceptance speech where he casually said he was engaged.

No details beyond that speech were offered as far as Rodgers’ newly-engaged status goes.

Earlier this week, Yahoo Entertainment reported that Rodgers was dating actress Shailene Woodley. This was seemingly corroborated by a separate report from US Weekly.

Based on that, many are now wondering whether Rodgers and Woodley are engaged.

It would sort of make sense. The pair was initially linked back when Rodgers was dating Danica Patrick. It was heavily implied that Woodley played some role in the break-up.

A cryptic message from Patrick, shortly after her separation from Rodgers, added fuel to the fire.

All that being said, given the fact that stories about Rodgers and Woodley officially being together just went public, it’s pretty insane that they would already be preparing to get married.

Until an official announcement is made by Rodgers on whether he’s actually engaged, and to whom, it’s impossible to say for certain what the heck is going on here.

This past year Rodgers led the Packers to a 13-3 record with 4,299 passing yards and 48 touchdowns. He was subsequently named to a Pro Bowl for the ninth time and was a First-Team All-Pro selection for the third time.

Last week a report surfaced suggesting that he may be part of a massive four-team deal involving Deshaun Watson, but it remains to be seen how viable that actually is. If it doesn’t happen, there are six legitimate trade suitors out there salivating at the prospect of possibly acquiring him from the Packers.
