Arch Manning Recruitment Down To 5 Schools

High school phenom Arch Manning is the highest ranked quarterback recruit in the country and one of the most sought-after young players in the 2023 class.

The topic of where he will ultimately go to college has dominated conversations in the space for two years now.

Late in 2020, video of him giving some blonde girl a commitment to a university in bed went absolutely viral. While it was an interesting clip, for sure – it wasn’t binding. That means the topic of who he will eventually play for is still very much up in the air.

That said, while a specific school has not been selected by Arch and his team – it appears to be a five-program race at this point.

According to Justin Wells of Inside Texas, the five favorites for his services are: the Texas Longhorns, Georgia Bulldogs, Alabama Crimson Tide, Ole Miss Rebels, and Clemson Tigers.

Of that group, two programs specifically reportedly hold a special place in Arch’s heart and one is the clear favorite. One prominent SEC program is said to officially be out of contention.

It goes without saying that Arch is an incredible talent. He threw for 1,913 yards and 26 scores in 10 outings this past year, while also rushing for 381 yards and six touchdowns on the ground.

There is a reason Alabama head coach Nick Saban made a pointed comment directed at him this week on ESPN:

Will Arch ultimately be able to guide one of the five aforementioned programs to a National Championship?

Time will tell.
