Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown and his alleged girlfriend Cydney Moreau found themselves embroiled in a bizarre scandal this week.
It all began Thursday afternoon when Brown’s former chef, Steven Ruiz, claimed that Moreau asked him to obtain a fake COVID-19 vaccination card.
In a statement to Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times, Ruiz claimed that Moreau texted him the following message: “Can you get the COVID cards?”
Images of text messages purportedly sent by Moreau seem to back these accusations up.
According to Ruiz, Brown wanted the Johnson & Johnson fake card due to the fact that only one dose of that vaccine is required. That would mean less counterfeit paperwork and less chance of getting caught.
Naturally, these accusations have led to both Brown and Moreau becoming the topics of much scrutiny. Since the former has been more of a known commodity than the latter up to this point, people became more so intrigued with Moreau.
So who is Moreau? She appears to be an influencer with more than 1.2 million followers on Instagram. Her posts largely speak for themselves:

Beyond that, she is reportedly now dating Brown – who has been in his fair share of love triangles and fascinating groupie entanglements.
It will be interesting to see how this entire fiasco ultimately plays out. Ruiz is obviously someone who isn’t an unbiased party. He claims Brown owes him $10,000 for unspecified services rendered. Clearly he has an axe to grind.

That said, his claims are verifiable. Hopefully the NFL ultimately steps in and does the necessary research to determine who is being truthful in this particular case.
How will that ultimately turn out for Brown and Moreau? Time will tell.
