Andy Reid Quote Goes Viral Before Super Bowl LIV

An Andy Reid quote went viral before Super Bowl LIV.

Reid is quite possibly the best coach in the NFL to have never won a championship.

Despite winning coach of the year on four separate occasions and reaching five NFC Championship Games, he has never been able to win the big one.

The future Hall of Famer will aim to change that this weekend when his Kansas City Chiefs square off against the San Francisco 49ers.

This week, Reid was doing media when he decided to throw a little joke into the mix.

Reid has long been known for comparing various things to sweet and sour pork – and this time his grandchildren were the ones he compared the delicious food to.

“They keep you young and at the same time make you feel old,” he said.

“It’s kind of like sweet and sour pork.”

This was not the first time Reid used sweet and sour pork as a point of comparison.

“It’s like sweet and sour pork because I’m an offensive guy,” Reid said when asked about Marcus Peters nabbing three interceptions during practice.

“He’s picking the ball so I’m happy he’s picking the ball and I’m mad he’s picking the ball. It’s one of those. He had a good day today. Like all rookie, it’s early in camp.

“You have to come right back with it. That will be his challenge for tomorrow.”

Reid will look to win his first title on Sunday, February 2 when the Chiefs square off against the 49ers.
