Alex Rodriguez Says Even Leads Are Better Than Odd Leads In Baseball
Alex Rodriguez says that even leads are better than odd leads in baseball.
Rodriguez, 44, offered the interesting math lesson during a “Sunday Night Baseball” showdown between the New York Mets and Philadelphia Phillies.
While attempting to explain the logic behind Philadelphia trying to sacrifice bunt a runner to third in the seventh inning with 0 outs in a 2-1 game, Rodriguez said it all comes down to odd leads versus even leads.

“You always want even leads versus odd leads,” he offered.
“Why? The solo home run doesn’t tie it, and the grand slam does not beat you.”
A-rod out of nowhere with the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard on a baseball telecast. “You always want even leads versus odd leads….”
