Alabama Starting Quarterback For 2020 Revealed

Alabama’s starting quarterback for 2020 has been revealed.

With Tua Tagovailoa now gone, it is clear that Mac Jones will ultimately step up and get the nod as his replacement.

Head coach Nick Saban has yet to make an official statement on the matter, but the writing is on the wall.

Jones, a red shirt sophmore, stepped in admirably for the star and gave his team a legitimate shot at the College Football Playoff.

A three-star recruit, Jones adapted nicely to the pressures of being a starter. He ultimately recorded 1,503 yards, 14 scores and three picks as the program’s No. 1 quarterback.

Jones’ competition does not have much on him.

Taulia Tagovailoa has the right last name, but to date he has gone 9-of-12 for 100 yards and one touchdown.

Similarly, Bryce Young is a five-star talent who has yet to play a single collegiate down.

Barring some sort of catastrophe prior to the season beginning, Jones is the clear cut favorite to be the starting quarterback in 2020.

  1. I hope it isn’t the same one who had to take over when Tua got hurt he was a terrible QB. If it’s the same one we are definitely in trouble 😜.
