1 Team Viewed As ‘Real Possibility’ For Aaron Rodgers Trade

The whole NFL world was turned on its head two weeks ago when it was abruptly reported that Aaron Rodgers was done with the Green Bay Packers. He didn’t want to play for them anymore, apparently, and preferred retirement to continuing on with the franchise.

Almost immediately, one serious suitor for Rodgers’ services emerged. Then another.

A little while later, the team Rodgers himself most wants to play for leaked out.

So now that the dust has settled, how viable is a potential deal for the Packers star?

According to James Palmer of NFL Network, Rodgers getting traded to the Denver Broncos is becoming increasingly likely.

“I’ve talked inside the building that it’s a real possibility that Aaron Rodgers could end up with the Denver Broncos,” he said.

“Those same people have told me that ‘Remember, deals of this size with players of this nature, MVPs, are difficult to get done and you don’t know if they are going to get done until you get to the finish line. And at the same time, you need the Packers to make him available.’”

In recent days, Rodgers’ own teammates have come out and revealed how petty he truly is. That pettiness could very well manifest itself in him forcing his way out of town, no matter how much the Packers resist.

One way or another, it doesn’t appear as though this problem is going away any time soon.

Rodgers wants out, and barring something crazy happening, all signs point to him eventually getting his way.
